Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Spare Parts Inventory Manager to shape the global strategy for spare parts inventory management within the Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering team. You will oversee stocks and lead cross-functional process improvements across RME to optimize availability and costs.

Key responsibilities include developing a global strategy, driving data-driven analyses, and presenting results to senior leadership while championing efficiency across locations and supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Be a key contributor to the global spare parts inventory management strategy.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive global strategy for spare parts inventory management.
• Drive initiatives to ensure availability of the right spare parts at the right locations while minimizing costs.
• Conduct data analysis and identify opportunities to optimize processes.
• Lead cross-functional process improvement projects and report to senior management.
