Pacific Islands Construction is seeking a Senior Service Manager to lead the commercial roofing service department, overseeing dispatch, repairs, and preventive maintenance from start to finish. You will manage technicians and support staff, drive service revenue, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication with customers, and collaboration with leadership on staffing, budgeting, and process improvements to grow the service business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial roofing experience, including service and repair operations.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in service, operations, or field management
• Strong knowledge of TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, metal, and coating systems
• Experience with dispatching, work order management, and job costing
• Ability to read scopes, reports, drawings, and inspection documentation
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the commercial roofing service department
• Manage service technicians, foremen, and service coordination staff
• Oversee leak response, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance work
• Review work orders, reports, photos, proposals, and closeout documentation
• Monitor labor, materials, subcontractor use, and job profitability
• Build strong relationships with property managers, facility teams, building owners, and key accounts
• Support the growth of recurring maintenance and repair business
• Enforce company safety policies, OSHA compliance, and jobsite standards
• Coach and develop team members while driving accountability and performance
• Partner with leadership on staffing, forecasting, budgeting, and process improvement
