Job summary

ABC Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is seeking a Service Manager for our Portland, OR shop. This role provides leadership for the Service Department, oversees repair work, PMAs, service projects, and national account service, and ensures safety, quality, and profitability.

You will supervise the Service Coordinator, PMA Coordinator, Service Superintendent, and Service Estimators, manage scheduling, proposals, and customer relationships, and identify new service opportunities while coordinating

Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial roofing service operations or management.
Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, repair methods, and preventative maintenance.
Ability to develop proposals, scopes of work, and pricing for service projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily service department operations to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Direct supervision of Service Coordinator, PMA Coordinator, Service Superintendent, and Service Estimator(s).
Lead department training, performance reviews, and staff development.
Prepare service proposals including PMAs, repairs, tenant improvements, and coating projects.
Manage service scheduling, project start-ups, and coordination with Production.
Monitor KPIs, budgets, and department goals with OUP; ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
