Pacific Islands Construction is hiring for an Assistant Operations Manager – Commercial Roofing & Building Envelope in Honolulu, HI. The role supports the operations team, leads service and production activities, and drives growth through client relations and efficient project execution.

Ideal candidates have 3–10 years in commercial roofing or building envelope ops, strong leadership, and proficiency with AutoCAD or Bluebeam. A robust benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of experience in commercial roofing or building envelope construction operations.
• Leadership demonstrated in managing field crews and coordinating with foremen.
• Proficiency in construction software such as AutoCAD or Bluebeam and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Drive Growth: develop leads, establish recurring maintenance programs, promote repair/service capabilities to owners and managers.
• Estimation & Scoping: review bids and pricing for localized service work with estimating staff.
• Customer Relations: serve as primary contact for service clients, handle inquiries, ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Project Execution: assist PM team in safe, profitable execution of large-scale commercial production projects.
• Resource Coordination: manage material purchasing, logistics, and inventory; ensure smooth handoffs between departments.
• Quality & Safety Control: monitor sites to ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to budgets.
