Job summary

ABC Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is seeking a Service Manager for its Portland, OR shop. You will lead the Service Department, directing service operations, PMAs, and national accounts to ensure top-tier customer service, safety, quality, and profitability.

The role requires strong leadership, five years in roofing service operations, and a track record in strategic planning and cost control. Expect a mix of office and field work with occasional travel and a focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial roofing service operations or management.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, repair methods, and preventative maintenance practices.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing both field and administrative personnel.
• Strong financial and operational management skills including budgeting, cost tracking, and performance metrics.
• Ability to develop proposals, scopes of work, and pricing for service-related projects.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent customer service, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Service Coordinator, PMA Coordinator, Service Superintendent, and Service Estimator(s).
• Oversee service operations to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality delivery.
• Prepare service proposals and review estimating worksheets.
• Coordinate with Production Department on larger projects and field operations.
• Review service contracts and monitor billing accuracy.
• Manage national accounts and CRM documentation for service work.
