Job summary

SMS Data Products Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Service Desk Technician for the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (CCSD) at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.

You will support end-user IT services, manage tickets, and maintain secure workstation configurations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5–8 years of service desk experience, and proficiency with Windows, AD, and Office. Active TS/SCI clearance is required, with opportunities to work with AF networks in a dynamic team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of directly related Service Desk experience; experience with classified networks is a plus.
• Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Active Directory.
• Experience supporting AFSCI, NIPRNet, SIPRNet, NSANet, and Tier networks is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong work ethic and adaptability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user IT support for hardware, software, network access, and enterprise applications using ticketing systems and remote tools.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations and enterprise networks with STIG compliance and vulnerability management.
• Support for standard workstations and software; build and image deployment per latest SDC standards.
• Handle remote desktop management and MAB requests for device/service changes and security requirements.
• Maintain information systems support across AF networks and ensure proper system administration and outage responses.
• Adhere to STIG guidance and address IAVA/IAVB/TCNO advisories.
