Nelson Auto, a family-owned dealership serving North Dakota communities, is seeking a customer-focused Experienced Service Advisor to join our Williston service team.

The Service Advisor acts as the primary connection between customers and technicians, helping customers understand service needs, coordinating repair schedules, and ensuring work moves efficiently through the shop. This role offers strong career growth within our service department.

Qualifications

• Prior service advisor or automotive customer service experience required.
• Dealership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and listen carefully to vehicle concerns and service needs
• Schedule service appointments and manage daily shop workflow
• Communicate repair recommendations, timelines, and costs clearly to customers
• Serve as the liaison between technicians and customers
• Monitor repair progress to ensure efficient turnaround times
• Review completed work with customers and explain services performed
• Collaborate with service and dealership leadership to maintain smooth operations
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience from check-in through vehicle pickup
• Reliably commute daily to Williston, ND
