Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Server, Storage & Network Engineer to design, implement, and support customer infrastructure across server, storage, virtualization, backup, and networking. The role emphasizes hands-on work in environments serving K-12 and higher education customers.

Location is South Carolina with hybrid work: home-based when not traveling to customer sites and office options. Travel up to 75% across the southeastern US; contract-to-hire with immediate start.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and supporting server, storage, virtualization, and networking environments.
• Proven ability to translate customer requirements into infrastructure designs and plans.
• Strong customer-facing communication and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployments, migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh projects from planning to handoff.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, storage, virtualization, and backup platforms.
• Configure networks, DNS/DHCP, and hybrid infrastructure integrations.
• Support Exchange, M365/Google environments, and on-premises/hybrid setups.
• Mentor engineers and document configurations and standards.
