Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Server, Storage & Network Engineer for the Southeast U.S. region with heavy travel.

The role blends hands-on engineering, technical consulting, and project delivery across server, storage, backup, and networking environments. The position requires 7+ years of related experience, strong Windows/Linux and virtualization skills, and a willingness to travel up to 75% across the southeastern U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering, implementation, or advanced technical support.
• Hands-on experience across enterprise servers, storage, virtualization, and networking.
• Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux, directory services, and virtualization platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer infrastructure, identify gaps, and recommend solutions that fit technical requirements, staffing, and budgets.
• Design reliable, secure, and scalable server, storage, virtualization, and network environments.
• Lead customer deployments, migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure refresh projects.
• Install and configure physical servers, hypervisors, SAN/NAS storage, and backup platforms.
• Deploy and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, and VPN solutions.
