Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Server, Storage & Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions for customers in the southeastern United States. The role blends hands-on engineering with technical consulting and project delivery across servers, storage, virtualization, networking, and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in infra engineering, strong Windows/Linux and virtualization experience, and the ability to translate business needs

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering, systems integration, implementation, or advanced technical support.
• Strong hands-on experience across servers, storage, virtualization and networking.
• Experience delivering deployments, migrations, upgrades and refresh projects from planning to handoff.
• Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux environments, directory services, and enterprise virtualization.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with SAN/NAS storage, backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Willingness to travel approx. 75% across the southeastern U.S.

Responsibilities

• Design reliable, secure, scalable server, storage, virtualization, backup, and network solutions.
• Lead deployments, migrations, upgrades, and modernization projects.
• Install, configure, migrate, and troubleshoot server environments.
• Support SAN/NAS storage, backup, replication, and DR solutions.
• Coordinate with project managers and customers to deliver projects on scope and schedule.
• Mentor other engineers and develop technical documentation.
