Job summary

ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, is seeking a Principal Hardware Development Systems Engineer to lead design and development of server platforms from concept to launch. You will define system requirements, coordinate subsystems, and drive product configurations through prototypes to production.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or CS with 12+ years of server design experience (or MS with 10+ years), deep x-86 architecture knowledge, and strong collaboration across cross-functional

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 12+ years server design experience (MS +10y acceptable).
• Strong understanding of x-86 system architecture and platform execution.
• Knowledge of system-level server platforms and component interactions.
• Board level development skills and hardware/software interaction expertise.

Responsibilities

• Determine system specifications, I/O processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
• Coordinate subsystem design and total system integration.
• Develop overall server and system product configuration.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams from concept to production.
• Optimize system performance and resolve performance issues.
• Ensure manufacturability, reliability and serviceability of designs.
