Job summary

ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, seeks a Principal Electrical Architect to lead server and rack-level designs for hyperscale customers. You will interface with customers and core suppliers, guiding internal teams to solve complex technical challenges and deliver scalable, secure hardware platforms.

The role emphasizes system architecture, power design, firmware (UEFI/BMC), and security, with leadership across cross-functional groups. 12+ years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, CS, or Mechanical Engineering with 12+ years of direct industry experience (or MS + 10+ years)
• Experience with high-speed design, signal integrity, power distribution, and server architectures.
• Experience with high-speed serial buses/fabrics (SAS/SATA, PCIe, InfiniBand, Fibre Channel, Ethernet) and memory links (DDR4/DDR5, HBM)
• Knowledge of server & rack architecture, system design, and BMC functionality/security

Responsibilities

• Architect long-term hyperscale server technologies based on customer footprint.
• Lead integration of system-level engineering strategy with customers and suppliers.
• Build long-term technical relationships with core technology ecosystem.
• Develop differentiation opportunities and lead thought leadership discussions.
• Collaborate with customers on concept designs for custom server/rack solutions.
• Solve performance/operational problems and deliver business value through ZT hardware.
