Job summary

ZT Systems seeks a Principal Mechanical Architect to design server and rack level solutions for hyperscale customers. You will work with customers and suppliers to solve technical challenges, while guiding internal teams with technical leadership and strategy across server and power architectures.

You will lead efforts in system and power design, BMC/UEFI firmware domains, and security/Root of Trust, with a strong focus on delivering production-ready architectures and driving next-generation

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, CS, or Mechanical Engineering with 12+ years of direct industry experience (or MS with 10+ years).
• Extensive experience in high-speed design and signal integrity.
• Strong knowledge of server motherboard, chassis layout, and rack design.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term hyperscale server technology strategies aligned with customer footprint.
• Lead internal and external integration of system-level engineering strategy.
• Build long-term technical relationships with core technology ecosystem and drive customer requirements into next-gen designs.
• Identify differentiation opportunities and lead thought leadership with engineering, customers, and management.
• Collaborate with customers on concept and development of custom hyperscale server and rack designs.
• Solve performance/operational problems and deliver business value through ZT hardware.
