Job summary

ZT Systems is seeking a Sustaining Systems Engineer to assess ECOs, changes, and validation plans for mass production server platforms. The role emphasizes documenting learnings and proposing advanced system requirements for future programs.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Electrical Engineering or CS with 6+ years of server design experience, or an MS with 4+ years, and strong x86 architecture knowledge. You will collaborate across groups to improve FW/BIOS, validation, and design methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 6+ years of server design experience (or MS with 4+ years).
• Strong understanding of x86 system architecture and platform execution.
• Experience with board-level development and hardware/software interactions.
• Ability to lead cross-functional validation, debugging, and design efforts.

Responsibilities

• Assess ECOs, change requests, and validation plans for mass production servers.
• Coordinate validation, debugging, and subsystems integration.
• Maintain configurations as products evolve through sustenance and EoL.
• Define validation methodologies for customer changes and alternate sources.
• Optimize performance and address post-launch issues.
