Job summary

Silverback Strategies is seeking a Senior SEO Manager to lead SEO strategy and execution for a portfolio of client accounts. You will leverage AI testing, data analysis, and content strategy to drive performance, while serving as the primary SEO contact for assigned clients.

You will partner with measurement, paid media, and creative teams to translate strategy into tactical roadmaps and scalable content systems across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Agency background delivering results for multiple clients
• Minimum 3 years in agency SEO; 5+ years in marketing/SEO overall
• Comfortable talking directly with clients and presenting strategy
• Hands-on with AI search testing and optimization
• Ability to tie SEO wins to client business impact
• Strong content strategy experience guided by audience/keyword research
• Proficient with standard SEO tools and platforms
• Self-motivated, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy, innovation and performance across multiple client SEO programs
• Hands-on AI & LLM-driven SEO planning and optimization
• Analyze data with GA, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other tools to generate insights
• Lead client-facing status calls and clearly communicate SEO strategy
• Build and maintain content systems: topic clusters, pillar pages, internal links
• Collaborate with measurement, paid media, and creative teams
• Prepare SEO strategy proposals and audits for sales alignment
• Improve delivery processes to increase efficiency and value
