Silverback Strategies is a fully remote performance marketing agency with teams across the continental United States. Our next SEO Manager will serve as the premier expert in SEO and Organic Search, managing 4–6 accounts and building strong client relationships.

You’ll drive strategy, test AI-enabled search approaches, analyze data with GA, GSC, SEMrush, AHRefs, and Screaming Frog, and translate insights into clear, actionable plans for cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Agency experience in performance marketing is required.
• 2+ years of agency SEO experience; 3+ years of overall marketing/SEO experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Must be comfortable talking directly to clients and presenting SEO plans.
• Hands-on experience optimizing for AI search and testing strategies.
• Ability to tie SEO wins to measurable business impact across industries.
• Experience driving content strategy based on audience, keywords, and competitor research.
• Proficient with common SEO tools and platforms (GA/GA4, GSC, SEMrush, AHRefs, Screaming Frog).
• Strong time management and a relentless, results-driven work ethic.

• Research emerging trends in search and AI to refine strategies.
• Review performance data to identify trends and measure impact.
• Collaborate with measurement, paid media, and creative teams to execute plans.
