Job summary

Silverback Strategies is a fully remote performance marketing agency with teams across the continental United States. We seek an SEO Manager to own a portfolio of 4-6 client accounts, drive AI-enabled SEO strategies, and deliver data-driven results that impact client growth.

You will lead strategy, innovation, and execution across multiple accounts, working with analytics tools to translate data into actionable plans while maintaining strong client relationships and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Agency background with proven results in performance marketing.
• 2+ years agency experience; 3+ years in marketing/SEO; 5+ years preferred.
• Comfortable talking directly to clients and presenting complex SEO strategies.
• Hands-on experience optimizing for AI search testing and practical implementation.
• Ability to tie SEO wins to measurable business impact.
• Expertise in driving content strategy based on audience, keyword and competitor research.
• Proficiency with common SEO tools and platforms.
• Willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Excellent project and time management with strong calendar discipline.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy, innovation and performance of multiple client SEO programs.
• Hands-on AI/LLM optimization and testing for search behavior.
• Analyze data with GA, GSC, SE ranking tools to generate insights.
• Lead status and reporting calls with clients; be primary SEO contact.
• Build and manage client relationships as trusted advisor.
• Translate channel strategy into time-bound roadmaps and content systems.
• Research emerging AI trends to refine SEO approaches.
• Review performance data to identify trends and impact.
• Collaborate with measurement, paid media, and creative teams.
