Job summary

Lennox International is seeking a Lead SEO & AI Search Optimization Specialist to serve as the subject matter expert for search and AI-driven discovery. You will lead SEO, AIO, AEO, and GEO strategies across Lennox's digital ecosystem, partnering with marketing, UX, product, content, and engineering teams to drive growth in visibility, traffic, and conversions.

This senior IC role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution.

Qualifications

8 - 10+ years of experience in SEO, AI search optimization, digital discoverability, or related disciplines.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, information systems, digital technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Working knowledge of SEO evolving across AI-powered discovery experiences (AIO, AEO, GEO, AI Overviews).
Experience evaluating brand visibility across AI-powered discovery platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity).
Experience monitoring AI citations, answer visibility, and competitive presence across AI platforms.
Understanding of entity-based search, knowledge graphs, semantic search, and LLM retrieval patterns.
Experience designing and testing AI search optimization initiatives (AIO/AEO/GEO).
Strong understanding of modern SEO practices: technical SEO, content strategy, architecture, structured data, Core Web Vitals, analytics.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve Lennox's enterprise search and AI discovery strategy across traditional and AI-powered platforms.
Lead SEO, AIO, AEO, GEO, and entity optimization roadmaps aligned with business goals and customer needs.
Guide cross-functional teams to execute optimization work and improve organic visibility and AI discovery metrics.
Analyze AI-generated responses and retrieval patterns to identify opportunities and design experiments.
Collaborate with engineering to improve technical discoverability and site architecture for AI retrieval.
Define KPIs and report on discoverability, traffic, engagement, and conversions.
