Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, ID is seeking a Sr. Engineer to install, configure, qualify, sustain, and maintain diffusion and furnace equipment toolsets across the full lifecycle from installation through decommissioning.

You will analyze equipment data, drive cost reduction and reliability improvements, lead cross-functional improvement projects, and ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance while collaborating with suppliers and process owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 6 years of experience in semiconductor equipment or related occupation.
• Experience with diffusion processes and furnace equipment.
• Ability to perform failure analysis and root cause investigations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, qualify, sustain, and maintain diffusion/furnace toolsets.
• Analyze equipment data to drive cost reduction and reliability improvements.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects within scope, schedule and budget.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance in all tasks.
