Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho seeks an Equipment Maintenance Technician to monitor and improve manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced semiconductor setting.

You will partner with Operations, Equipment Engineers, and vendors to enhance uptime and reliability, applying preventive and corrective maintenance while using PC-based systems for data analysis. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement with opportunities to lead maintenance projects and adopt AI-enabled

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in a technical field with hands-on equipment maintenance.
Experience maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation, or in technical roles.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to day/night rotations.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to improve equipment performance.
Identify and fix electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and software-related issues using schematics.
Disassemble, repair, calibrate, and reassemble manufacturing equipment while maintaining quality.
Monitor equipment health and support process improvements and root cause analysis.
