Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks an Equipment Engineer 3 to install, maintain, and optimize complex semiconductor toolsets across the full lifecycle. The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and adherence to procedures while driving performance improvements through data-driven decisions.

You will collaborate with suppliers, process owners, engineers, and technicians to meet production targets, lead improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Relocation is TBD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment maintenance and data-driven improvement.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, qualify, sustain, and maintain semiconductor equipment toolsets.
• Analyze equipment data and operational metrics to drive reliability and efficiency gains.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Lead improvement projects and coordinate cross-functional action items to closure.
