Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Design Project Manager to support our semiconductor and electronics business, directing the technical delivery of complex projects and managing client interfaces. You will guide teams to meet program goals, budgets, and schedules, while upholding quality standards.

This role requires 15–20 years of project management experience in industrial/commerce facilities or tech sectors, with strong financial acumen and a record of design execution and client management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 4 additional years of work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 15–20 years of experience in managing projects related to industrial and/or commercial facilities.
• Experience as a project/design manager on advanced technology, semiconductor, electronics, life sciences or data center projects.
• Financial acumen, design execution & client management experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing the business–customer relationship.
• Planning and overseeing program implementation within budget and requirements.
• Managing financial and schedule requirements.
• Staffing and managing resources to meet program requirements.
• Ensuring subcontractors’ performance meets contractual standards.
• Liaising with customer to prioritize tasks and resolve issues.
• Developing estimates, proposals, BOEs, and contract actions with stakeholders.
• Providing oral and written reports of status to stakeholders.
• Briefing senior management on program status.
• Endorsing and implementing company policies and procedures.
• Completing employee performance appraisals and counseling if supervising staff.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
