Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior Design Project Manager to lead semiconductor and electronics projects, directing technical delivery and interfacing with clients and stakeholders. The role emphasizes collaboration, delivery excellence, and challenging the status quo.

The position supports a North America–based team with travel as needed, offering a hybrid work model and opportunities across high-tech facilities, data centers, and advanced manufacturing segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 4 additional years of work experience in lieu.
• 15-20 years of experience in managing projects related to industrial and/or commercial facilities.
• Experience as a project / design manager on advanced technology, semiconductor, electronics, life sciences or data center projects.
• Financial acumen, design execution & client management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the business–customer relationship.
• Plan and oversee the program implementation within budget and requirements.
• Manage financial and schedule requirements.
• Staff and allocate resources to meet program needs.
• Ensure subcontractors meet contractual requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain liaison with customer to prioritize tasks and resolve issues.
• Develop/co-ordinate estimates, proposals, BOEs and related actions.
• Provide reports on status and ensure deliverables meet contractual requirements.
• Brief senior management on status and metrics.
• Endorse and implement company policies and procedures.
• Conduct employee performance appraisals and counseling if supervising staff.
