Job summary

Jacobs, a leader in technology-enabled solutions, seeks a Senior Design Project Manager for its semiconductor/electronics programs. You will oversee complex projects, manage the business-customer relationship, and ensure technical and financial performance across teams and clients.

The role emphasizes collaboration, proactive issue resolution, and adherence to contractual requirements, with travel as needed and a hybrid work model in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 15–20 years of experience managing projects related to industrial and/or commercial facilities.
• Experience as a project/design manager on advanced technology, semiconductor, electronics, life sciences or data center projects.
• Financial acumen, design execution & client management experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing the business–customer relationship.
• Planning and overseeing program implementation within budget and requirements.
• Managing financial and schedule requirements.
• Staffing and managing necessary resources to meet program needs.
• Ensuring subcontractors’ performance meets contractual requirements and quality standards.
• Maintaining liaison with customer to prioritize tasks and resolve issues.
• Developing estimates, proposals, BOEs, and other contract actions.
• Providing status reports to stakeholders and ensuring deliverables meet contractual requirements.
• Briefing senior management on program status data.
• Endorsing and implementing company policies and procedures.
• Completing performance appraisals and counseling if supervising employees.
