Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Nashville seeks an Experienced Project Manager for Self-Perform Operations (SPO) drywall and general trades. Lead pursuit, staffing, planning, budgeting, and risk management across projects in Nashville and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include kickoff to closeout management, SOV setup, ROJ date adherence, weekly production meetings, and ensuring safety and quality while coordinating with owners, architects, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of project management experience on specialty scopes (e.g., drywall, framing, ceilings).
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of interior construction systems and safety, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Proven leadership to supervise teams and manage multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational performance of SPO projects from kickoff to closeout.
• Lead startup with budget setup, SOV, and submittals.
• Procure and release long-lead materials to meet ROJ dates.
• Lead weekly production meetings and improve production with the superintendent.
• Generate production rates and report variances to teams.
• Identify change conditions, estimate change orders, obtain owner approvals.
• Understand and administer contracts and subcontracts.
• Promote community involvement and build strategic relationships.
• Develop and update the SPO master schedule and communicate obligations.
• Coordinate with EH&S and Finance on safety, payments, and invoicing.
• May supervise SPO Drywall team, participate in hiring, and coach staff.
