Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to plan, lead, and coordinate Self-Perform Operations (SPO) drywall and general trades on a live project. You will oversee safety, quality, and production, and work with subcontractors and suppliers to meet contract requirements.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years as a superintendent for interior systems, a degree in construction or equivalent, and a strong grasp of lean scheduling methods like

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Superintendent in interior systems trades.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Construction preferred or equivalent experience.
In-depth knowledge of interior systems, EH&S practices, and trade methods.
Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings and schedules.

Responsibilities

Sequence work to meet project schedule and coordinate SPO activities.
Establish production requirements with Foreperson and monitor weekly progress.
Monitor installed quantities and percentage of completion for SPO tasks.
Manage material deliveries as defined in the project schedule.
Assist with hiring/trimming labor and staffing for trades.
