Job summary

DPR Construction in Smyrna, GA is seeking a seasoned professional to lead and develop self-perform work (SPW) construction projects. You will manage SPW teams, coordinate with subcontractors and partners, and ensure project alignment with budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, resolving complex issues, and communicating status to stakeholders while driving continuous improvement and cost control across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of managerial experience preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 30 completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of SPW project individuals to achieve exceptional performance and talent development.
• Oversees end-to-end execution of self-perform work scopes with SPW teams, monitoring progress and addressing escalated issues.
• Oversees procurement of SPW materials, equipment, and specialty trade subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and field alignment.
• Communicates SPW project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders with advanced SPW knowledge.
• Evaluates SPW project performance and implements corrective actions.
• Reviews SPW project documentation for compliance, reporting, and cost forecasting to support financial control.
