Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Lead for our Rolling Meadows, IL site. You will own the overall systems engineering effort, ensuring processes are followed and that core work products are compliant and timely.

The role requires leading cross-disciplinary teams across hardware, software, and firmware, with a strong emphasis on MBSE practices and DoD system integration. The position is on-site in Illinois and supports a challenging defense program.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in STEM with 8+/6+/4+ years in defense engineering.
• 5+ years in an engineering role at a defense contractor during EMD/LRIP.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a US Secret clearance; US citizenship required.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to present to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities and ensure process compliance.
• Direct SEIT efforts across hardware, software, and firmware domains.
• Develop and maintain system models and verification artifacts.
