Job summary

PacBio is seeking a Staff Specialist, Segment Marketing (Human Genomics) to drive adoption of our long-read sequencing solutions among genetic testing labs, academic medical centers, and genome sequencing programs. You will develop targeted messaging, sales tools, and account engagement in collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Applications, and R&D.

You will lead conference activities at ASHG, ACMG, and AMP, translate scientific results into compelling materials, and monitor market

Qualifications

Required Bachelor's degree in genetics, genomics, molecular biology, or related field.
Eight or more years of relevant genomics marketing or scientific/commercial experience.
Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer meetings, conferences, and activities.
Experience with long-read sequencing and PacBio technologies is preferred.
Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Develop segment marketing strategies for human genomics customers and define value propositions.
Translate scientific evidence into compelling customer materials and enable sales teams.
Lead conference strategy and engagement at ASHG, ACMG, AMP to advance commercial priorities.
Engage strategic accounts, understand workflows, and tailor messaging to opportunities.
Build relationships with researchers and lab leaders to generate evidence and case studies.
Monitor market trends and coordinate cross-team marketing execution.
