Job summary

Illumina in the United States is seeking a Staff Marketing Programs Manager to advance next-generation sequencing initiatives across regional markets. You will craft and execute multi-channel marketing programs tied to Illumina’s multiomics offerings, collaborating with global and regional teams to accelerate pipeline growth.

The role requires a strong track record in campaign development within life sciences, cross-functional leadership, and experience in genomics or sequencing.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree.
• Proven track record and experience in leading campaign development and execution.
• Sales experience, research experience in a life science discipline, genomics experience, or hands-on sequencing experience, also highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm, develop and execute meaningful and measurable regional multi-channel marketing plans in conjunction with global and sub-regional field marketing to drive pipeline acceleration and impact near-term revenue
• Interpret market data and input from the field marketing team to effectively leverage into marketing programs/action plans
• Manage the concurrent execution of a variety of marketing tactics within a given program and ensure linkage of tactics to overall segment strategy
• Effectively identify and use various marketing channels to achieve the desired response within a market segment
• Report and monitor campaign performance (KPI’s) and implement improvements in order to optimize campaign return on investment (ROI), and improve business impact
• Maintain and oversee campaign budget for respective areas of the business; this includes ensuring 95-100% of quarterly allocation is spent on Marketing Programs to drive near and long-term revenue goals
• Participate in quarterly and annual planning and review cycles
