Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Engineer to lead projects involving riverine, coastal, riparian, and port settings. You will assess remediation technologies, manage teams, and interact with clients and stakeholders on complex regulatory topics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering; PE license required.
7 years of related experience; travel may be required.
Experience leading teams on sediment remediation projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

Evaluate the feasibility of sediment remediation technologies and prepare sediment remediation designs for various settings.
Lead a team of engineers/scientists on sediment remediation projects for federal and/or public sector clients.
Support mathematical/statistical evaluations of environmental data sets and communicate technical strategies to clients.
Act as technical liaison with clients, the public, and outside consultants; ensure designs comply with regulations.
