Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineering (PE) license.
• 7 years of related experience. Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Providing expertise in evaluating feasibility of sediment remediation technologies and preparing designs for riverine, coastal, riparian/floodplain, and port sites.
• Understanding sediment transport, environmental site assessment, sampling/monitoring, cap modeling, dredge approaches, remedial design and construction.
• Supporting mathematical/statistical evaluations of environmental data sets.
• Serving as task manager on sediment sites, communicating technical strategy to clients and SMEs.
• Leading staff in preparing and reviewing technical information to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Liaising with clients, the public, and outside consultants on technical evaluations and designs.
