Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineering (PE) license.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise evaluating sediment remediation technologies and designs for riverine, coastal, riparian/floodplain, and port settings.
• Understand principles of sediment transport, site assessment, sampling/monitoring, cap modeling, dredge approaches, and remedial design.
• Support mathematical/statistical evaluations of environmental data sets.
• Act as task manager on sediment sites, communicating technical strategy to clients and SBM SMEs.
• Liaise with clients and outside consultants to convey complex evaluations clearly.
• Lead staff in preparing and reviewing technical information to meet regulations.
