Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Service Technician in Maine to troubleshoot and service security systems including alarms, CCTV, and access control. You will diagnose issues, repair or replace faulty equipment, and coordinate inspections with authorities, delivering high-quality service from a field location.

Ideal candidates have a Maine low‑voltage license, 4–5 years’ experience with Tyco or equivalent systems, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Maine Electrical Low Voltage license required.
• 4–5 years’ experience installing and inspecting/repairing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.
• Experience with Card Access, CCTV/IP cameras, Burglar Alarm and Fire Alarm.
• Excellent communication skills and electrical/electronic background.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair or replace security equipment including alarms, CCTV and access systems.
• Set up and work remotely from field location with tools and equipment.
• Prepare trouble order forms and coordinate inspections or installations with authorities.
• Provide solutions to improve building efficiency and upsell where appropriate.
• Quote recommendations and solutions to customers.
