Job summary

YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai is seeking a Johnson Controls Service Technician to troubleshoot and service commercial security systems, including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, and access control.

You will work independently from a remote location with the necessary tools, provide high‑level service, and coordinate inspections with police and fire departments to ensure facilities run efficiently. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4–5 years of experience with Tyco Integrated Security or similar product line.
• Experience with card access, CCTV, IP cameras; electrical license in MA or ME.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Electrical/Electronic background.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: Fire alarm experience; some college; NICET II or greater; HIRSCH Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Alleviate customer concerns regarding security systems.
• Advise customers and the customer care center on system status and inspections.
• Repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and card access systems.
• Work independently from a remote location with required tools and equipment.
• Provide high‑level service to resolve building inefficiencies and service‑related items.
• Locate and troubleshoot damaged equipment or wiring; readjust, repair, replace, and test equipment.
• Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facilities run efficiently, including upselling opportunities.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.

Job Overview

Johnson Controls Service Technician responsible for troubleshooting and servicing commercial security systems including burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, card access, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Alleviate customer concerns regarding security systems.
• Advise customers and the customer care center on system status and inspections.
• Repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV systems, card access systems, and other security equipment.
• Work independently from a remote location with all required tools and equipment.
• Provide high‑level service to resolve building inefficiencies and service‑related items.
• Locate and troubleshoot damaged equipment or wiring; readjust, repair, replace, and test equipment.
• Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: Fire alarm experience; some college; NICET II or greater; HIRSCH Certificate.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Rate: $25.96 – $36.05, depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
