Job summary

Convergint Federal is seeking a experienced Service Technician III to install, configure, and maintain security systems for U.S. Federal Government projects. The role focuses on field operations, client communication, and ensuring system performance meets industry standards.

You will perform site surveys, assist with troubleshooting, and provide training to clients on operation and maintenance of access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems. Travel is required (approx. 25–35%).

Qualifications

• Minimum high school degree or GED; trade certification preferred.
• 8+ years experience installing and maintaining security systems; 100K project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain security systems (access control, video surveillance, intrusion).
• Perform upgrades and modifications to meet client requirements and standards.
• Provide remote and on-site support; document service activities and configurations.
• Interface with clients to understand needs and train on system operation.
