Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc is seeking a Security Systems Specialist 3 to design, engineer, integrate, operate and maintain electronic security and IT systems for federal, local and commercial clients.

You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams to implement intrusion detection, access control, biometrics, video surveillance and IT services in high-growth markets. The position requires strong problem-solving, hands-on integration experience, and the ability to lead tasks independently while meeting ICD 705 and

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship with interim Secret clearance; ability to obtain Secret.
• Education aligned with the listed degrees and experience levels.
• Experience with access control, video management, perimeter intrusion, and other security systems.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and executives.
• Vendor certifications for platform/services are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and remediate complex systems in mission-critical environments.
• Assist with analysis, engineering, and deployment of system improvements.
• Document designs, configurations, and SOPs for infrastructure.
• Perform security updates to hardware/software to maintain posture.
• Research and prototype emerging technologies with OEMs.
