Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc is seeking a Security Systems Engineer 5 to design, install, and sustain enterprise-level physical security and IT systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.

You will lead cross-disciplinary teams to implement access control, video surveillance, and perimeter defense in line with ICD 705 and other security standards. The role requires strong problem solving, hands-on integration, and the ability to collaborate with design, install and O&M teams while pursuing

Qualifications

• Education: Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or related discipline; IT accepted.
• Master’s Degree plus 7+ years or Bachelor’s plus 10+ years of experience.
• Strong engineering and administration experience with access control, video management, perimeter security, and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and remediate complex system availability and performance issues.
• Assist with analysis, engineering and implementation of system improvements and automation.
• Document designs, transition plans and standard operating procedures.
