Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Security Systems Engineer 3 to design, engineer, integrate, and sustain electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers. You will translate client needs into scalable architectures and serve as a technical liaison for vendor teams.

Responsibilities include evaluating technologies, developing deployment plans, and creating documentation and training materials to improve security postures across environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, or IT.
• Master’s Degree and 3+ years of experience preferred; Bachelor’s and 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with electronic security systems and certifications (CCURE, Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, HID, Axis).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate technologies to improve customers’ physical security postures.
• Design system adoption plans and scale deployments for global systems.
• Serve as primary technical liaison for vendor product teams.
• Write high-quality documentation for system standards and operations.
• Provide training on deployed security systems and develop training materials.
