Job summary

Cook & Boardman, LLC in Dover, DE seeks a Physical Security Systems Engineer to responsibly configure and integrate access control, CCTV, and networking solutions across client projects.

You will serve as escalation point, advisor, and trainer, applying certifications in VMS and access control, and coordinating with IT staff, project teams and field personnel to ensure reliable, scalable security deployments and documented results.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of network fundamentals, SQL database and Windows Server.
• Proficiency with peripheral systems (visitor management, video intercom, LPR, analytics, gate systems).
• Masters IP camera technology, controller hardware and credential technologies.

Responsibilities

• Configuration of physical security systems at a high level.
• Programming and commissioning diagrams and as-builts.
• Technical oversight of project engineering and configuration tasks.
• Documentation and end-user training.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and technical advisor.
