You will read blueprints, configure devices, troubleshoot with test equipment, and train end users. The role requires hands‑on installation, adherence to electrical codes, and the ability to work independently with a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; an apprenticeship may substitute.
• Experience with Digital + Analog Camera Systems.
• Experience with CCTV and enterprise access control (Ccure/Genetec/Lenel).
• Understanding of Alarm Systems.
• Experience with IP addressable devices.
• Proficient with ADT AI core card access & CCTV.
• Computer literacy with TCP/IP networking.
• Able to operate a company truck with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install complex integrated security systems including wiring and programming.
• Install cabling and equipment enclosures per code and guidelines.
• Troubleshoot with electronic test equipment.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, specs and manuals.
• Perform system checks and verify operation.
• Train end users.
• Submit paperwork for job assignments.
• Route cables through spaces and terminate.
• Drill holes for wiring.
• Work unsupervised and stay self-motivated.
• Drive company vehicle.
