Job summary

CBX Solutions is seeking a skilled Physical Security Engineer to lead high-level configuration and integration of access control and IP/analog surveillance systems. You will serve as a technical advisor to clients and act as escalation for installations and troubleshooting.

The role requires certifications in multiple VMS and access control systems, plus hands-on experience in designing and configuring security projects. Travel to project sites may be required; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Hold and retain certification in at least three VMS systems.
• Hold and retain certification in at least two access control systems.
• Hold and retain enterprise/advanced-level certification in at least one access control or VMS.
• Have a minimum two years of experience configuring physical security systems.
• Have served as a Lead Technician – Physical Security (or equal) for a minimum of two years.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Configuration of physical security and supporting systems at a high level.
• Programming and commissioning line diagrams and as builts.
• Technical oversight of project engineering and configuration tasks.
• Documentation and end user training.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and technical advisor.
