Job summary

TSTC seeks a seasoned project lead with deep security engineering and governance expertise. You will guide a dispersed team of highly technical security engineers and report to senior leadership, ensuring compliance and delivery across IT systems.

Responsibilities include maintaining ATOs, assessing risk, and presenting status reports. The role requires 15 years in security and a CISSP or CISM, with travel 4–5 times per year and a hybrid on-site schedule in Annapolis Junction, MD or Colorado

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 15 years of related security compliance experience.
• Must have a CISSP or a CISM.
• Experience guiding security engineering and governance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, management, and leadership for security programs and governance.
• Manage a geographically dispersed team of security engineers and report to senior leadership.
• Maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO) for IT systems and assess current security postures.
• Identify risks and design solutions for future programs related to IT systems deployment.
• Prepare, review, and submit status reports and invoice data; ensure accuracy of deliverables.
• Interface with government and TSTC leadership to communicate security posture and progress.
• Travel to client sites and ensure compliance deliverables are accurate and complete.
