Job summary

MNTN is seeking a senior security engineer to strengthen the security posture of our platform. You will shape architecture across cloud, applications, and data flows, collaborating with DevOps and engineering to implement secure defaults and reusable controls.

Qualifications

• Deep security engineering across applications, cloud, Kubernetes, identity, networking, and software supply chain.
• Strong architecture knowledge and ability to translate requirements into controls.
• Experience with threat modeling, observability, and security automation.

Responsibilities

• Shape security architecture across applications, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, CI/CD, identity, and data flows.
• Partner with engineering on architecture and threat modeling to design secure systems.
• Turn risks into secure defaults, build reusable platform capabilities and automated enforcement.
• Build automated security monitoring, CVE detection, remediation, and visibility into control failures.
• Operate secure infrastructure on Google Cloud and GKE, focusing on RBAC, least privilege, and supply chain security.
