Job summary

Early Warning is seeking a Principal Platform Security Engineer to define long-term security architecture across products, platforms, and shared services. You will lead high-impact security engineering initiatives that balance risk reduction, scalability, and developer experience.

You will mentor senior engineers, shape enterprise standards, and drive secure-by-default patterns across multiple teams. Hybrid work applies to several U.S. locations, and eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• Typically 15+ years of experience or portfolio aligning with senior engineering leadership roles.
• Expert-level experience across platform, infrastructure, software, and security engineering including architectural leadership.
• Experience defining target states, standards, and reference architectures adopted at scale.
• Ability to influence senior technical and business stakeholders and align organizations toward a common direction.
• Strong ability to solve complex, ambiguous engineering problems with durable, scalable solutions.
• Demonstrated technical leadership without formal people management authority.
