Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement, security management, or related field preferred.
• Strong security background via military, security ops, or law enforcement accepted in lieu.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Excellent knowledge of access control systems and protection criteria for sensitive materials.
• Ability to supervise subordinates effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communications skills.
• Experience in labor relations, logistics, and communications.
• Strong analytical, oral, written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and oversight of security operations, including personnel management, patrol coordination, inspections, and emergency response readiness.
• Maintain optimal staffing levels for all facilities under the Captain of the Guard’s command.
• Ensure the quality of security services consistently meets or exceeds contractual and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with the Sr. Operations Manager to verify all security personnel maintain current certifications, qualifications, and contract-mandated training.
• Enforce compliance with established security policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Direct and coordinate responses to security incidents and ensure proper documentation and follow-up actions.
• Develop and manage guard schedules to ensure coverage while minimizing overtime.
• Oversee payroll processing for assigned security staff.
• Maintain accurate inventories of uniforms, equipment, and other security-related assets.
• Manage the operation, maintenance, and readiness of company-owned vehicles assigned to security staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager to meet mission and operational requirements.
