Job summary

Afognak Diversified Services, Inc. seeks a Captain of the Guard to lead security operations in Grand Prairie, TX. You will oversee staffing, training, and incident responses, ensuring compliance with security protocols and contractual requirements.

The role requires a strong security background, leadership skills, and experience in personnel management, risk mitigation, and emergency coordination. Relocation support and full-time benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in law enforcement, security management, or related field.
• In lieu of degree, strong security background via military, security ops, or law enforcement.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Proficient with access control systems and protection criteria for sensitive materials.
• Ability to supervise subordinates effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and oversight of all security operations, including personnel management, patrol coordination, inspections, and emergency readiness.
• Maintain staffing levels for all facilities under the Captain of the Guard’s command.
• Ensure security services meet contractual and operational requirements.
• Verify certification, qualifications, and training of security personnel with Sr. Operations Manager.
• Enforce security policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Direct responses to security incidents and document follow-up actions.
• Develop and manage guard schedules to ensure coverage and minimize overtime.
• Oversee payroll processing for security staff.
• Maintain inventories of uniforms, equipment, and security assets.
• Manage operation and readiness of company vehicles assigned to security staff.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.
