Job summary

Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV is seeking a dedicated Security Supervisor to lead daily security operations, monitor incidents, and ensure guest and staff safety. You will coordinate with hotel departments and external agencies to obtain essential information for service and investigations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of security, investigations, or risk management experience.
• Prior law enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide the most responsive, knowledgeable, and courteous service by protecting the property and the safety of guests and team members through observing, reporting, and action.
• Provide direction for the day-to-day operation of the Security team and liaise information between executives and officers.
• Identify security and safety issues and provide integrative solutions for a safer environment.
• Delegate projects, reports, investigations, etc. to security staff.
• Review officer reports and ensure pertinent information is included before closing the report.
• Conduct daily shift briefings and prepare daily Activity Log of significant incidents.
