Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance; ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience in product security or secure system design, including threat modeling or fuzzing/penetration testing.
• Embedded software engineering knowledge in Python and Java/C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system data flows to identify attack vectors and assess risks to products.
• Develop threat models / data flow diagrams for secure data handling.
• Ensure security measures are properly implemented during product development.
• Develop, deploy and automate security tools to identify product security flaws.
• Mentor junior product security engineers and pursue security certifications.
• Review code to identify weaknesses in security implementations.
• Conduct fuzzing and penetration tests to evaluate attack surface robustness.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments of proposed and in-service systems.
