Job summary

enGen is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Application Security team and embed security into the software development lifecycle. You will design guardrails, enforce gates, and drive secure engineering practices across engineering teams.

You will lead initiatives spanning SAST/DAST/SCA, AI-enabled development workflows, and secure-by-default architectures to reduce risk before production, at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and enforcing security in SDLC.
• Strong knowledge of security guardrails and shift-left practices.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and enforce shift-left security controls across CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive vulnerability risk reduction with remediation SLAs and metrics.
• Automate and optimize the security toolchain for high-fidelity signals.
• Enable and empower developers with secure-by-default practices and training.
• Measure and report on AppSec KPIs, AI security metrics, and governance impact.
• Assist in AI application security and governance, including threat modeling and reviews.
